Acme Tools has hit the next stage of their 75th anniversary sale. Now thru 11am CST 8/4/23, save 15% on select tools from Dewalt, Milwaukee, and most of the other tool brands they carry.
There are the usual brand exclusions, and promo-priced tools also aren’t eligible for the sale.
This promo saves you $200 max, which is a higher savings cap than usual.

However, there is a catch. You can only get the discount if you receive a unique promo code, and that requires you to sign up either via email or text message.
If you’re looking to buy something right now, 15% off most items site-wide is a great trade for your contact info.
They also still have other promos ongoing right now that might be worth a look.
If you’re the “nah, I’m not giving you my personal info!” type, use a new email address or wait for the next promo.

DeWalt’s new snow blower is available for preorder and eligible for the 15% off – https://www.acmetools.com/dewalt-60v-snow-thrower-single-stage-with-two-4ah-flexvolt-batteries-kit-32aa2a0db39/043033600366.html
If they had the bare tool version available, I may have bit.

I suppose it would be nice in an area that doesn’t get huge snowfalls, but that really looks weak compared to the Toro I got last year.
I’ll be kind of disappointed if Milwaukee’s is similar.
But that price + discount isn’t bad if you roll Yellow …
Big Richard
Even in areas that do get huge snowfalls, these cordless single stage blowers are still a nice complimentary blower. You can pick them up and throw them in the back of a truck if you do property maintenance, or just use it at home for those lighter snowfalls where you really don’t want to shovel and the larger two stage is overkill.

If it’s anything like their first gen. mower then everyone should stay away from it. That mower was the worst tool I have ever owned. I went through 3 of them (all under warranty). They used plastic spindles that melted from heat and electronics that would just randomly die. None of them lived past 5 mowings.

I actually liked the gen I, it was just sooo thirsty and a little undersized for my lot. I upgraded to the gen II when they came out for the better battery life, larger cut width, and self propelled feature. Still part of me wished I would’ve kept the gen I for doing my smaller front and side yard as it had better suction, imo. Maybe I got the opposite of a lemon, a unicorn, but mine served me well and I mow 2-3 times a week on a golf course quality yard (yes I am that guy in my neighborhood).

No thanks.

ToolUp is advertising a 20% off Milwaukee Kit tool sale. I have not looked at it closely enough to know if it is any good:

I have a co-worker who is looking for more FlexVolt batteries; as far as I can tell, this is current the best deal: https://www.acmetools.com/dewalt-flexvolt-20v-60v-90ah-60ah-battery-2pk-dcb669-2/885911797870.html
That’s a 6 AHr + a 9 AHr battery for $249 minus 15% if you buy right now – I doubt Black Friday pricing will be much better.

Side discussion, I just got an ad on my phone from Felder group for their pcs technology that competes with saw stop. The blade doesn’t appear to have a brake, it appears to just lower quickly. Let the competitions begin, hopefully it will force lower prices.
Stuart
I haven’t seen Felder’s tech on any machines in SawStop’s competitive space.
Their PCS tech seems reserved for extremely expensive commercial equipment, and there’s no indication they’ll be introducing it in their sub-$10,000 table saws.

They meant 11:00 am CST SHARP! I missed the deadline reaching for my wallet to get the 3-digit CCV code off the back of my credit card and missed the 15% by seconds… Oh well!

Sorry – unfortunately I know the feeling. Most promotions are programmed in with hard end times/dates.
Update: I asked and they should be able to honor the promo for you. Check your email for details.
